Custom
built Dobsonian mount stands to raise your focuser position.
A comfortable standing position at the eyepiece helps you relax, see
more and observe longer.
Assembly: Easy with only 9 screws and 15 dowels. See photos for measurements
needed.
Construction: 3/4" (18mm) birch plywood top board, bottom stabilizer
board and legs. #8 Torx exterior grade screws through predrilled countersunk
holes into corresponding pilot holes, 3/8" dowels to lock attached
top and stabilizer board against lateral movement. Your mount's feet
fit securely to perimeter of top board. Maximum height 20", ask
for quote for taller stands.
All parts included. Kits are rough sanded with 80 grit. Finished orders
fine sanded and sealed with multiple coats water resistant polymer.
