Mounts:
Upgrades
for original factory mount. We use Teflon and laminate to correct
the fast and touchy motion the factory "lazy Susan"
azimuth assembly suffers. Constructed using 18mm birch plywood,
these mounts provide strength, light weight and rugged endurance.
Factory mounts use pressed/particle board which are can can
swell from wicking moisture, degrading structural integrity.
12" mounts shown above - also available for 8" and
10"..
This is a standardized design, no changes are allowed. We will
ask to confirm a simple dimensions when you order.

EZ adjust setting circles (altitude an d azimuth) are available
with these mounts, which include Teflon and laminate bearing
material for smooth/sure azimuth motion: IEZSC.
Separate EZ adjust setting circles with preferred azimuth
motion is also available for your current mount: SEZSC.
Apertura/GSO motion upgrades: Replace your mount's rocker
box round bottom board and ground board assembly with our Azimuth
Motion Upgrade (AMU) drop-in replacement. Made with 18mm birch
plywood, Teflon and preferred laminate for smooth motion and
sure starts/stops. We will ask a few simple dimensions.
